“My dad was an accountant and my mom was a stay-at-home mom. I have a lot of their values, but I was the typical 21-year-old who was like, “I'm living in my first apartment with my friends and I'm an adult and making my own money. I can do what I want” type of mentality, whereas now I'm so aware of where my food comes from, where my clothing comes from, the waves that my actions create.

I also have my dog and she’s like my fur baby. I know my actions directly affect her. I feel very connected to everything whereas I used to feel so disconnected.”
